The self-adjusting bbs-tek vehicle reversing alarm from Brigade Electronics has a sound level range from 77 to 97dB(A), which makes it ideal for trucks,rnbuses, coaches, forklifts and light mobile plant machinery, says the company. It measures, through digital sound sampling, the ambient sound pressure levelrnand then adjusts the alarm up or down to maintain just 5-10dB louder - loud enough to be heard but not so loud as to cause a nuisance.rnThe alarm uses broadband sound, commonly known as 'white sound', which means sound is locatable, but it is localised to the danger area. It is suitable for all types of vehicle from commercial vehicles to heavy mobile plant and equipment, with models having a decibel rating from 63dB(A) up to 107 dB (A).
