Two construction companies have been fined a total of £105,000 after one man died and another was seriously injured when a concrete slab collapsed during construction of a car park at Heathrow Airport in August 2005.rnPrincipal contractor, Laing O'Rourke Infrastructure Ltd, Kent and SGB Services Ltd, a supplier of construction equipment based in Leatherhead, pleaded guilty to breaching Section 3(1) of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974.
