1. Section 2(1) states: "It shall be the duty of every employer to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare at work of all his employees." 2. Section 33(1)(g) states: "It is an offence for a person to contravene any requirement or prohibition imposed by an Improvement Notice or a Prohibition Notice (including any such notice as modified on appeal)."
