Body shop workers are being encouraged to do more to protect themselves when paint spraying, as new research suggests that some are still putting themselves at risk of developing asthma.rnThe research reviewed current health and safety practices in the motor vehicle repair (MVR) sector in relation to the use of two-packrnpaints containing isocyanates, focusing in particular on the use of masks and the use of spray booths. The research, carried out for the HSE by the Institute for Employment Studies, identified a number of areas of concern.
