The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has produced a 45-minute interactive lesson for apprentices on the dangers of asbestos. Primarily intended as a resource for delivery by vocational education providers to trades apprentices in the 16-19 age group, HSE says it can also be used as part of workplace training. It is designed to raise awareness of the risks that apprentices face when working with asbestos, offering basic guidance about what they need to do to protect themselves.
