Physical risks down, say UK workers

The UK has one of the lowest reported levels of exposure to physical risks in the workplace and some of the best informed workers on health and safety in Europe, according to the fifth European Working Conditions Survey. But across Europe, reported levels of exposure to physical risks have not fallen much since the first working conditions survey in 1991 and on some measures, such as 'tiring and painful positions' and 'repetitive hand or arm movements' exposure levels have got worse.
