The SVAN 971 Sound Level Meter and Analyser from Svantek is a lightweight, pocket-sized, Class 1 instrument offering advanced characteristics such as audio event recording, detachable pre-amp and microphone, a dosimeter function and a vast time/history logging capability. Conforming to IEC 61672-1 standard, the 971 is said to be ideal for industrial hygiene, short period environmental, and general acoustic noise measurement. It provides broadband results with all required weighting filters, as well as 1/1 octave & 1/3 octave analysis. It has a high-contrast colour OLED-type display and can be successfully operated in a wide range of temperatures and environments.
