And it's true! Not only that, but it is beautifully written and thoughtfully presented, leading the reader through its pages in a logical way. The authors, Lee Ostrom, PhD (who has worked in the fields of risk assessment, industrial safety, ergonomics and human factors for over 30 years) and Cheryl Wilhelmsen (an assistant professor at APUS/AMU) describe risk analysis as: "The method of analyzing the dangers to individuals, businesses and government agencies posed by potential natural and man-made hazards."
