No prosecutions over Edinburgh legionnaires' deaths, COPFS announces

There is not enough evidence to prosecute any person or organisation for the deaths of the four people who died following the legionnaire's disease outbreak in Edinburgh in June 2012, Scotland's Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS) has announced. The circumstances surrounding the deaths were investigated by the Health and Safety Executive and Lothian and Borders Police under the direction of the specialist Health and Safety Division of the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service.
