In a case that has potential repercussions for thousands of employees and employers alike, the Employment Appeal Tribunal (EAT) has upheld a decision allowing a woman to take a case of alleged unfair treatment at work, on grounds of her son's disability, to the European Court of Justice (ECJ). The case is likely to be heard later this year.
