The cover (10) has a strip-shaped section and a mounting section for securing hygiene or body care articles (11) e.g. wound care articles, with an assistance of the cover that is mounted on a side of the hygiene or body care articles. The mounting section is selected from a group consists of resilient collar, Velcro (RTM: hook and loop fastener) cloth tape that is connected with a Velcro (RTM: hook and loop fastener) strip (12), adhesive band (13), push button (14), magnetic lock and a slide fastener, where the cover partially comprises a wound spacer grids. The cover comprises an elastic material selected from a group consists of alginate, modified cellulose, such as alkylate cellulose, carboxy-alkylate cellulose, carboxy-methyl cellulose, nylon or polypropylene, liquid conductive fibers, open-cell foam, and polyurethane and/or silk.
