Award For Uld Research

摘要

Research on the management of upper-limb disorders (ULDs) has been recognised by the medical research charity the Bupa Foundation through its annual Health at Work award.The research, led by Professor Kim Burton at the University of Huddersfield Centre for Health and Social Care Research, and funded by the HSE, highlightsrnthe importance of a biopsychosocial approach to the management of ULDs. Improved communications between clinicians, employers and staff are also essential for managing work-relevant ULDs.
