The NHS Plus network has won its first national contract to provide OH services. It will deliver services to the telephone and online healthcare advisory service, NHS Direct, which employs 3,200 people across 37 sites in England.The national contract is led by Health at Work at Imperial College, in partnership with 31 NHS Plus network members.rnNHS Plus says that its new national model for delivery will guarantee that all NHS Direct employees are treated to a consistent standard of service. Its director, Dr Kit Harling, said:'NHS Plus and its network is setting a new standard for delivery of occupational health services across the country and winning the NHS Direct contract is a major milestone in this effort.'
