The British Occupational Health Research Foundation (BOHRF) has announced that it will be winding down. Although it will continue to fund existing research projects -including a systematic review of employee assistance programmes and a randomised controlled trial of computerised CBT in the workplace - it no longer has the funds to continue beyond current commitments. The grant-giving charity attributes a lack of sponsorship to the poor economic climate. A letter from its chair, Sir Bill Callaghan, confirms that BOHRF will not be seeking further sponsorship, but makes clear that funds for the eight currently funded research projects are assured.'All the existing commitments to fund these projects will be honoured,'said Callaghan.
