'We area Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) of two partners-we are both qualified occupational health practitioners. It happens that the other partner is also my wife, Nikki.We arranged professional indemnity cover which covers us as individuals and also as a LLP. We have one policy that covers everything. 'When initially looking for cover a few years ago we contacted a medical defence organisation, and were given a one-size-fits-all quotation. A lot of the risks they covered, we don't get involved in.There are obviously people within the field of OH who undertake invasive procedures, but the work that we're involved in is largely case management, and not a lot of 'hands on'clinical work-we don't do invasive procedures. We felt that the premium provided just general blanket cover-it was covering us for risks that we weren't exposed to. Whether this is still the case I don't know as I haven't been back.
