How would you sum up your role? At Wolves, the work is a mix of general practice, sports medicine, acute injury management and occupational health. At the Premier League it is more of a strategic and advisory role; I support the Premier League Doctors' Group, work within the league and with the Football Association (FA) on matters of governance, and with the clubs on matters relating to player welfare and departmental governance.
