OH advice on the prevention and control of exposure to bloodborne viruses in the police,fire, ambulance, prison and immigration services, has been published by Public Health England~1. It includes: recommended actions in the event of a potential exposure, including on the use of HIV post-exposure prophylaxis; immunisation; care pathways; and providing advice and support.
