Plans to give NHS staff immediate access to dedicated mental health support will be considered as part of the upcoming NHS workforce implementation plan, the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) has announced. The DHSC says improved support for NHS staff will be based on recommendations by Health Education England (HEE), which were published in February1.
