Q Some years ago, I found a published article that discussed a low current /high voltage circuit that I built, and that a friend used to discourage his pet dog from peeing on his flower bed. The circuit was battery powered, used a filament power transformer inserted backwards, and an SCR to generate a mild shock on an attached wire. The rest of the circuit details have faded in the passing years. I was wondering if you could come up with a suitable replacement circuit.
