D.C. Court of Appeals Rules against DOE On Nuclear Waste Fund Position

The United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia ruled June 1 that the Department of Energy (DOE) has failed to justify continued payments by consumers of electricity from nuclear power plants into the Nuclear Waste Fund and has ordered the department to reassess its position on the fee within sixmonths.
