Progress of Nuclear Safety for Symbiosis and Sustainability: Advanced Digital Instrumentation, Control and Information Systems for Nuclear Power Plants, edited by Hidekazu Yoshikawa and Zhijian Zhang. This is the first book of a planned series to introduce advances in research and development for the sustainable development of nuclear power, with an emphasis on the symbiosis of humans, society, and the environment. The editors, cofounders of the quarterly web journal International Journal of Nuclear Safety and Simulation, have gathered 32 papers from the journal for this initial offering in order to provide readers with a better understanding of the state-of-the-art design and implementation technology needed to maintain and enhance the safe operation of nuclear plants.
