The United States has 2,300 cubic meters of commercial nuclear waste for sale or rent to any state that wants it. The federal government will even bury it free and keep an eye on it for the next 25,000 years. With all the things that nuclear leftovers are good for (process heating and deterring terrorists, to name two), you'd think state legislatures would be shouting, "We'll take all you've got!"
