PJM quantifies benefits of nuclear in Ohio and Pennsylvania

During recent debate on legislation intended to prevent the shutdown of nuclear plants in Pennsylvania and Ohio, the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission and the Ohio Consumers' Counsel separately requested input from PJM Interconnection on the consequences of the planned nuclear plant closures in their respective states. PJM is the grid operator responsible for the movement of wholesale electricity from FirstEn-ergy's Davis-Besse and Perry plants in Ohio and Beaver Valley in Pennsylvania, and Exelon's Three Mile Island plant in Pennsylvania.
