Financing for new nuclear plants continues to be one of the biggest obstacles the nuclear industry will have to overcome, energy industry and Wall Street officials told a nuclear energy roundtable on Capitol Hill last week, asserting that continued and improved government support for new nuclear projects is essential in helping mitigate the risks.
