An August study from Japan's Institute of Energy Economics predicts that at least seven Japanese reactors will restart between April 2014 and March 2015, generating 23.7 TWh of electricity. EDF began its withdrawal from the US nuclear scene in July, announcing that it was pulling out of Constellation Energy Nuclear Group, its joint venture with Exelon. The French utility received a dividend of $400 million and retains the right to sell its stake in CENG to Exelon at a 'fair market value' between 2016 and 2022.
