Michael Schwartz, 1950-2013

President and CEO of Energy Resources International, Inc. (ERI) Michael Schwartz died in February 2013 after a short illness. Schwartz, who over the past few years was a regular contributor to ERI's reports in the September issue of NEI, had a 40-year career that spanned the nuclear fuel industry. While at ERI, Mr. Schwartz provided nuclear industry clients with consulting services in all aspects of the nuclear fuel cycle. Prior to forming ERI in Washington DC in 1989 with Julian Steyn, Schwartz worked at Pickard, Lowe and Garrick, Inc., General Atomics, and Consumers Energy.
