The Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty - Forty Years of International Peace SL Energy Security

In May of this year, 172 States - Parties to the Treaty on Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) - convened at the United Nations (UN) Headquarters in New York to review the functioning of the Treaty. The 7010 Review Conference' [Ref.1] was assessing the implementation of the provisions of the NPT in relation to its three pillars: 1.Nuclear Disarmament; 2.Non-proliferation of nuclear weapons; 3.Research, development, and peaceful uses of Nuclear Energy.
