At-Bristol is a leading science centre in the heart of Bristol. It provides an interactive learning experience for families visiting its many permanent exhibitions. It also welcomes over 50,000 schoolchildren each year. Most of these participate in at least one activity from the education programme, which is specially designed to complement the National Curriculum. The Nuclear Institute's Western Branch has developed a relationship with At-Bristol to help to support children with their science learning. We secured a charitable donation for At-Bristol from the Nl Education and Training (E&T) committee. In return, At-Bristol has developed a workshop targeted at key stages 3 and 4 (children aged 13-16); the programme is designed to provide an interactive experience for children in support of the GCSE science curriculum.
