Ensuring the capacity and capability of the UK nuclear industry workforce

The UK nuclear civil and defence sectors clearly face a significant challenge to ensure that they have, and maintain, the workforce required with the right skills and capability to successfully and safely deliver the UK nuclear programme; however, much work has been undertaken in this area and with continued commitment to this agenda, effective collaboration, continued effort and investment, the skills challenges can be addressed and the UK will have a safe and secure nuclear programme with the maximum amount of careers, jobs and supply-chain opportunities secured within the UK.
