British Nuclear Energy Society one-day conference European funded projects in nuclear Technology Some short notes

On Thursday the 27 June, a one-day Conference was held in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of the West of England, Bristol. The subject was 'Euro- pean Funded Projects in Nuclear Technology', and invited presentations were given by a spectrum of eminent speakers from the Department of Trade and Industry, the British Nuclear Energy Forum, and lead- Ing British and European companies. The day would Not have been complete, of course, without two key Presentations from the European Commission itself. For the organizers, events began early, with a meet- Ing for dinner with some of the speakers the previous Evening.
