摘要

A mehthod is proposed for the analysis of electromagnetic waves propagating in an arbitrary planar multilayer anisotropic medium with an arbitrary number of laeyrs. The Maxwell equations are reduced to an equivalent system of four ordinary differntial equations for the tangential components of the field vectors. Well-known formulas for the Fresnel coefficients and impedance are generalized to the case of arbitrary anisotropic media.
