PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic wave propagation speed estimation method in a structure such as a concrete structure, an object survey method in the structure, a computer program accompanied thereby, a recording medium, an electromagnetic wave propagation speed estimation device in the structure, and an object survey device in the structure.;SOLUTION: A transmitter 3 and a receiver 4 are arranged on one main surface of the structure 1 including the object 2, and a pulsed electromagnetic wave is irradiated into the structure 1 from the transmitter 3, while the transmitter 3 and the receiver 4 are moved in one direction, and the electromagnetic pulse reflected by the object 2 is received by the receiver 4. An observed value of a propagation time until receiving the electromagnetic pulse at each measuring position is determined from an observed waveform of the electromagnetic pulse, and an estimated value of the propagation time is set. The estimated value of the propagation time is expressed as a function of the object 2 position xT, yT (xT is a position in one direction, and yT is a depth position) and the propagation speed v of the electromagnetic wave in the structure 1, and the propagation speed v of the electromagnetic wave and the object position xT, yT are estimated simultaneously from the estimated value wherein the difference between the estimated value and the observed value of the propagation time at each measuring position becomes minimum.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
