摘要

An electromagnetic source immersed in an anisotropic plasma is considered. A mathematical method is developed for analyzing the effect of the plasma layer on the field radiated in an external vacuum medium. The method involves the determination of the field radiated by a point source located in an anisotropic plasma cylinder of a small transverse dimension. It is demonstrated that the anisotropy considerably affects the radiated field of nonsymmetrical azimuthal waves and causes a noticeable radiation at two resonance frequen- cies in all directions, including the direction of the dipole moment of the horizontal electric dipole.
