A technique for generating a noiselike carrier based on spreading the spectrum of a microwave sig- nal is developed. As the spreading function, the technique uses a chaotic digital sequence produced by a deter- ministic algorithm implemented as a digital coding device. The transformed and reconstructed spectra of the noiselike carrier are studied experimentally. The technique of spreading the spectrum of a microwave signal in order to obtain a noiselike carrier is shown to have a sufficiently high efficiency, which allows one to design a channel with high power, structural security, and high noise-immunity.
