The propagation of magnetoplasma waves in a periodic array formed by semiconductor layers alter- nating with dielectric ones is studied theoretically. It is assumed that an external magnetic field is parallel to the layers and that the waves propagate in a plane perpendicular to the magnetic field. The passband under study is the result of the tunneling of surface magnetoplasma wave through the layers. 'the translational symmetry causes the formation of collective models in "the magnetoplasma waves through the layers. The translational symmetry with regard for the speed of light. It is demonstrated that the spectral region related to surface magnetoplasma waves splits into multiple subbands.
