摘要

A novel efficient method is proposed for simulating wave scattering from compact objects. The method is realized for 2D scattering problems. The high efficiency of the method is provided by the following two principally new approaches: construction of an auxiliary contour (an auxiliary current carrier) from a scat- tering contour that is analytically transformed and the use of the wavelet basis for approximating a desired aux- iliary current. The algorithms proposed guarantee extremely high accuracy, stability, and high-sped perfor- mance of computations. The method can readily be extended to 3D scattering problems.
