摘要

To realize a sixth-order VCVS active filter, three filters are usually employed in a cascade of suitable second-order blocks. In this paper, we prove that the number of active elements can be reduced to one if we use a sixth-order filter with one operational amplifier (op-amp). Also, a voltage gain K larger than unity (K as. a free parameter) decreases the spread element values considerably. A design data table for normalized Butterworth, Chebyshev, and Bessel VCVS active filters and low-pass (LP), high-pass (HP), band-pass (BP), and band-stop (BS) examples are included. With this filter, we have power and space saving, and the table provided and scaling rules enable rapid modeling.
