摘要

The Kotel'nikov-Shannon (sampling) theorem is applied to describe distortions of signals propagating in dispersive media. The notion of Kotel'nikov harmonics is introduced. It is shown that the number of Kotel'nikov harmonics increases when signal dispersion is observed. Techniques of signal restoration from the energy of Kotel'nikov harmonics are proposed.
