摘要

The method of extended boundary conditions (MEBC) is generalized to 3D wave diffraction problems. The algorithm of the method is implemented using the discrete-source technique. The error of the MEBC solution is estimated for the model problem of diffraction of a plane wave from a prolate spheroid. A new wavelet-based technique is proposed for calculation of the Vasil'ev S functions involved in the analysis of wave diffraction from bodies of revolution. Wave diffraction from compact bodies and excitation of thin-screen reflector antennas, including antennas of electrically large dimensions, are numerically investigated.
