The problems related to the creation of effective orotrons with a double-row periodic structure (DRPS) for the short-wavelength part of the millimeter wavelength range and for the submillimeter wavelength range are considered. The experimental results obtained for such devices working at the first and second spatial harmonics of the DRPS in the range 78-190 GHz are presented.
