Business process navigator: A fit/gap analysis technique for enterprise resource planning

Business Process Navigator (BPN) is a technique for supporting fit/gap analysis of the introduction of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) package. We developed an analysis technique based on three kinds of view models by analyzing the ERP package fit/gap analysis process. BPN made it possible to analyze the use of package business processes effectively, reducing the learning time 43/100. This paper outlines BPN and describes an evaluation based on the BPN fit/gap analysis results.
