Glass fibre veil for stop-start engines

Owens Corning has developed a new solution to help battery makers meet the challenges of stop-start engine technology. The company's new nonwoven glass fibre veil using corrosion-resistant Advantex E-CR glass technology increases the cycle lifetime of traditional flooded lead-acid batteries, in particular at a partial state of discharge.
