On ABC's "Good Morning America" Charlie Gibson was inter-viewing his current and future bosses, Tom Mur- phy and Michael Eisner, only moments after the announcement of the merger between their two companies. When Gibson posed a serious question, Murphy turned the tables and asked him if he wasn't proud to be part of the Disney family. Gibson, too embarrassed to give a straight answer, tried a joke about never imagining he'd work for "a guy named Mickey." It fell flat.
