In addition to the other distresses of cancer, 80 percent of patients receiving treatment experience fatigue.This is not the fatigue you feel after an unusually busy day at the office or even after a vigorous hike, but is something cancer patients often liken to a bout of the flu- an exhausting, often debilitating weariness that can make it difficult to concentrate and do even the most routine tasks.
