Making space: co-producing critical accounts of new technology, work and employment

摘要

For twenty five years New Technology, Work and Employment (NTWE) has successfully revealed both the politics and experiences of organising, innovation and employment. The journal has kept pace with changing experiences of technology and refocused on the shifting contours of technological change. In this context, NTWE has committed itself to disseminating empirically informed studies and has significantly contributed to both theory and practice of organisational transformation. Interestingly, as sociologists working in a business school and concerned with innovation and technology, we note that many of the interests of NTWE are shared with other communities such as Science Technology Studies (STS) and Critical Management Studies (CMS). This Special Issue is intended as an interlocuting device to develop emerging conversations between these communities and the NTWE audience.
