There is a mass extermination going on, right under our noses. Some have gone so far as to call this extraordinary loss of biodiversity the "sixth extinction".rnAt the World Summit for Sustainable Development in Johannesburg in 2002, governments agreed to reduce the rate of species loss by 2010. It hasn't happened. Who will be held to account? Nobody.
