MEET deja vu's rarer cousin. People with epilepsy sometimes recall old dreams during seizures - an experience called deja-reve. Now a study has found that stimulating a particular part of the brain can trigger this too. Jonathan Curot of Toulouse University Hospital, France, and his colleagues collected examples of deja-reve from 30 people with epilepsy who reported experiencing this phenomenon while undergoing electrical brain stimulation to assess which regions of their brain are involved in their seizures.
