The penetration of digital-terrestrial television in Spain rose by more than five percentage points during May - a record increase - as the country prepared for the first phase of its analog switch-off program.rnIndustry association ImpulsaTDT said this week that household penetration of digital-terrestrial television rose by 5.1 points in May to 58.7%.rnThere are now more than 9.8 million DTT homes and ImpulsaTDT said that a quarter of homes with DTT had bought their equipment during the first five months of the year, during which penetration has risen by 15 points.
