Automobile seat fabric for suppression of mite allergen activity

Toyota Boshoku Corporation, Sekisui Chemical Co Ltd and Komatsu Seiren Co Ltd of Japan have jointly developed the world's first seat fabric for automobiles that is capable of suppressing mite allergens with the potential to cause allergic reactions. The fabric, called 'Anti-Mite Allergen Processed Seat Fabric' will be deployed in the seats of the new Crown vehicle, launched by Toyota Motor Corporation in February 2008.
