South Korean TFT-LCD manufacturer BOE HYDIS has finally moved out of court receivership, and is making efforts to regain its market position through management normalization. The company announced that the Seoul Central District Court had approved the termination of its corporate rehabilitation process, where it had been since May 2007. The company has now signed an agreement with Taiwan's Prime View Consortium and has been working on procedures to end legal management. It had experienced difficulties in sales, purchasing and marketing due to the unstable conditions that beset BOE HYDIS after it entered court receivership. Now that has ended, the company will be able to secure liquidity through improvements in its financial structure. In addition, it will look toward achieving improved profits by establishing its position in the market as a company specializing in technologically advanced small- and medium-sized TFT-LCDs of high value.
